Strength is not to be feared and overlooked, it is the bedrock that true performance is built upon. Power can not be produced without adequate strength, and endurance will also suffer.

We need to be able to move and react fast, manipulate a 250 lb machine around in space, and sometimes pick it up in awkward terrain. Training to get strong and express power even under extreme fatigue does not happen by accident, it takes deliberate and focused training.

Endurance does not magically show up overnight. Many training programs are not built for our sport, they have different end goals in mind. These end goals are important, as they dictate many key components of how the training is laid out, structured, and executed. 

We understand the demands that our sport places upon the body, we know the stressors applied, and focus our attention on shoring up those weaknesses.

PROGRAM INFORMATION

  • Performance-driven individuals who are looking to leave no stone unturned. Professional, amateur, or the weekend warrior who is unwilling to allow their physicality to be the weakest link.

  • Gym based training. We use classic strength principles, mixed in with conditioning for the anaerobic and aerobic system, to truly maximize the best attributes we use and need on the bike. 

  • For the Perform training track, you will need access to a full gym set up. Squat rack, barbell, plates, dumbbells, kettlebells, bands, plyo boxes, pull up bar, rower, assault bike, adjustable bench, jump rope, etc...

  • Workouts that range from roughly 45-75min, 5 days per week. Each daily session has a warm-up and cool-down built in, and each session has a purpose. The week is designed to be gone through in the order prescribed. 

  • That is ok. Even though the program is designed to be done 5 days per week, that does not mean that getting in 3 or 4 days per week will not allow you to make serious gains! The focus would shift to making sure to hit the type of training for the day that you know you need the most. For example, if you have good conditioning but need to gain some strength, then make sure to hit the strength days, and vice versa, make sure to hit the conditioning days!
